Breaking through Barriers: A Roadmap to Invasive Plant Control

Symposium hosted by the N.H. Coastal Watershed Invasive Plant Partnership to be held May 20, 2010

 

Are you a natural resource professional, concerned citizen, or conservation stakeholder that wants to learn more about projects to control the growing threat of upland and wetland invasive plant species in N.H.’s coastal watershed? Attend this symposium to learn more about the nuts and bolts of invasive plant control projects, including permitting rules, specific techniques and case studies.

This symposium has been approved for two wetland science CEUS and one soil science CEU as well as other credits; see the attached brochure for details.

 

The event is sponsored by the Coastal Watershed Invasive Plant Partnership (CWIPP), which celebrates their second anniversary this May. CWIPP has eleven signatories to an official agreement, which commits them to collaboration on invasive plant management in N.H.’s coastal watershed.

 

CWIPP members will use the symposium to understand the issues and questions facing on-the-ground project managers. The information-gathering will be vital in guiding CWIPP activities going forward into their third year and beyond.
